Southwest Airlines dedication is of the highest quality of customer service delivered with a sense of warmth, friendliness, individual pride & Company Spirit.

Project background A 30 day on site activation throughout California featuring an online experience with the goal of giving away 100 Million Rapid Rewards bonus points. This promotion was the largest Rapid Rewards bonus point giveaway in company history. It didn't take long to see and hear that this audience was excited to play for the chance to win one Million Rapid Rewards points. In a matter of hours, thousands signed up. From there, people quickly started forming teams and set the tone for a successful month of the promotion.

Several measures of success showed that Southwest beat their participation goal by 690% with 90,000 active players. Those who signed up for California Millions were attributed with 695,000 site visits to Southwest.com.

This program performed so well that Southwest requested California Millions 2.0 the following quarter.

Online and in person consumers were sharing codes and tips on Reddit and other forms of social media. This campaign received well noted PR on several social media platforms.

My Role: Art director and lead visual designer. Responsible for logo identity, dashboard design, wire frames, prototypes, interactive design functionality, user experience and printed collateral for in person events.
